1. General Terms

1.1. These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Rett Rideshare Rentals, including vehicle rentals for rideshare and delivery platform use in Birmingham, AL.

1.2. By renting a vehicle, you confirm that you are at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver’s license, and meet the eligibility requirements for rideshare platforms such as Uber and Lyft.

2. Vehicle Use

2.1. Vehicles rented from Rett Rideshare Rentals are to be used solely for rideshare or delivery services, unless otherwise approved in writing.

2.2. Renters are responsible for maintaining the vehicle in a clean, operable, and presentable condition throughout the rental period.

2.3. Smoking, transporting illegal items, or engaging in any unlawful activity in the rental vehicle is strictly prohibited.

3. Payment and Fees

3.1. All rental fees must be paid in full prior to the start of the rental period, unless a written payment arrangement is made in advance.

3.2. Additional charges may apply for:

Late returns

Excessive wear and tear

Damage beyond normal use

3.3. All payments are non-refundable unless Rett Rideshare Rentals cancels the reservation.

4. Insurance and Liability

4.1. Renters are required to either:

Provide proof of valid insurance

Or purchase rental insurance coverage offered through Rett Rideshare Rentals

4.2. Renters are fully liable for any damage, theft, or misuse of the vehicle during the rental term.

5. Cancellations and Modifications

5.1. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time to avoid a cancellation fee.

5.2. Any changes to the rental agreement (extensions, swaps, etc.) are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

6. Mileage and Fuel

6.1. All rentals come with unlimited mileage, allowing you to drive freely and maximize your rideshare income.

6.2. Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as at pickup. Refueling fees will apply if the tank is not returned at the required level.

7. Termination of Agreement

7.1. Rett Rideshare Rentals reserves the right to immediately terminate any rental agreement if:

The vehicle is misused

Payment terms are not met

The renter fails to comply with any part of these Terms and Conditions

7.2. In such cases, the vehicle must be returned immediately to avoid additional fees or legal action.

8. Limitation of Liability

Rett Rideshare Rentals is not responsible for any loss or disruption caused by:

Deactivation or suspension from Uber, Lyft, or other rideshare platforms

Mechanical issues beyond routine maintenance

Incidents involving third parties

9. Privacy Policy

9.1. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as outlined in our [Privacy Policy].

9.2. Your data is used only for rental and communication purposes and will never be sold or shared without your consent.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Alabama, and any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts of Jefferson County, Birmingham, AL.
